I have three requests. My first one’s pretty easy, shouldn’t be terribly controversial (especially with all the pirate-themed armor and weapons they give us):

Juvenile Tropical Bird: from the Bird template, using the model found all over Lion’s Arch (and probably adopted from there), F2 power is Dazing Screech (the Pink Moa’s F2 power).

and, to swing for the bleacher seats …

Juvenile Series 7 Golem and Juvenile Series D Golem: Shrink the two Asuran racial power golems down, assign powers and stats as if they were pets, and put them inside the Applied Development Lab instance after the first Asura story arc, so that Asuran rangers can be golemancers as well as animal wranglers.

Turtles, 4 of them, preferably ninjas.

A Lion would be awesome, as would a raptor.

Personally I would love to see a Crocodile or an Alligator, it could have a KD/Stun F2 or you know bleed with bite/deathroll.

Some more aquatic would be nice a giant squid or something maybe an angler fish!

The real marsh drakes! The ones that look like the icon, the crocodilian ones that we had in beta. Bring them back kitten !

Id like to see a scorpion pet,with it’s F2 ability being pull,it open up alot more approaches for rangers in combat(pulling people onto traps,used with guard to draw people to a certain area etc)

I want more wolves and I pets to grow bigger.

Yea I could get down with several more cats like lions and tigers, a griffon, a harpy? (purely for perverted reasons, my ranger is a stud). And possibly something cool like a giant rat or a mobility one like a horse, get on its back and move 80% faster, gtfo.

i would love a Griffon for a pet just because its looks so cool

Or a skritt, for some reason I want one. I wonder if griffon would be classified under the avians.

When put in passive mode in situations where pets are not viable such as large group wvw, tower siege/defense or 5 man dungeons (read: endgame), the pet provides a passive Bonus Effect to offset the loss of its DPS.

I’d also like to have a Dev as a pet, so that if my unicorn gets 1 shot by some mob or aoe before I put it on passive, I can swap to the Dev and show him what that feels like.

After playing with Canines a lot recently I wouldn’t mind one in the Canine family with a burst F2 similar to Birds/Felines, I know its not really their point but I would like one. Maybe a Chiuaua or Poodle.

I honestly don’t care if they started re-using abilities, I’d just really like to see them continue to add pet varieties.

There are several other lovely colors of Moa.
I’d really like to have the skins of some of the prettier spiders.
The owl griffins are awesome.
There are a lot of hooved animals like the Stags, Moose, etc.

Definitely for the fox, but I’d take about anything! I’ve fought plenty of things I’d love to tame.

Why don’t we have a basilisk with an F2 like that stuns like the ones you can fight? I hate drakes because they are almost useless in PvP and never cast any skills, but if they got the issues worked out on them they might actually be viable.

John Green disapproves of unicorns…as do I.

How about bats though?

Pet that grants stability. Pet that grants invisibility (or at least creates a smoke field). Maybe a steam pet could do that?

I totally want a Moose and a Squirrel….. really want to run a Rocky and Bullwinkle.

The Squirrel F2 could be he runs in front of someone and they have to swerve (fear) out of the way from fear of running it over.
