So, the pigs are really strong in PvP now due to one major “nerf” to the pig, they changed the range from their charge from a 600 range, to a 300 range, now you guys are probably like “wtf hows this good?”

Well as any pig user knows, that thing takes a while to wind up and then at 600 (where the pet would always try to use it) they always missed by a simple side step. However now they can only use it at 300 where they’re pretty much ontop of the enemy anyway making their AoE 3s KD actually hit!

Was PvPing quite a bit today with my pig (more to dust off good ole Sir Oinks a Lot) and was quite pleased! Granted, Forage is still clunky as ever, but it didn’t seem like the enemies could pick up the item, i’m not sure on this though, a few ran over to it and stood there awkwardly for a few seconds but didn’t pick it up, so i assumed they were trying, haven’t tested it though.

Still sucks that the forage skills have their own CDs, 120 sec on skull fear is not cool.

Here’s an on the fly thought. Maybe what pets need, without traits but inherent to their pet family, is a straight up family special feature.

For instance,
Pigs: Thick Fat; incoming durations (including ones that are taken with empathic bond) are reduced by 25%.

Drakes: Scale Armor; incoming damage is reduced by 10%

Felines: Felines Grace: 30% faster movement speed (get rid of the trait for this in skirmishing entirely for option the improves power builds)

Dogs: Companions Fury; chance to recharge the Knockdown skill instantly when taking 10% or more damage, with an ICD.

Spiders: Arachnophobia: when taking 10% or more damage, cripple foes for 5 seconds in an AoE radius, with an ICD.

etc etc.

Boom. New, cool effects. Heck, these could all be master trait replacement if not inherent effects. Why not haha.

I had no issue popping 2 Elixir of Heroes back to back(my god did the stars align on that one!!) so I’d have to assume they did.

Happened yesterday while toying in fractals with a boar and a warthog. Got two skulls in row and had the 120sec CD on and after 30 sec of holding the skull it disappeared from my hand.
