Can this skill finnaly be made 1500 range like all the other longbow skills? It’s so awkward having a 1500 range weapon with its burst setup as 1200 range.

But then your arrows won’t hit them if they are at 1500 range + 400 kb… We will need 2000 range longbow !

Lol hadn’t actually thought that through I guess. I guess at full range it would need a 3/4sec KD rather than a KB.

I would like it to be a KD instead of a KB. I hate having a skill I can’t use in group content.

It would have to be renamed to “Max Range Shot”.

Nah. Change the knockback to a launch instead and alter the values. 600 (0-300), 400 (300-600), 200 (600-900), 0 (900+). Start bowling groups out of boredom and kinda get a knockdown at 900+ range since they’ll just flop. That and we’ll be able to get downed people off points.

I’d rather they remove the damage variance by range from both ranger longbow and mesmer greatsword and just use the max values.

After all, in PvE ele staff still does more DPS than ranger longbow even at max range.

Fireball hits harder than LB auto and cleaves all targets while LB hits a single target.

That can be the pvp version. Launch and KB are looked down on bigtime in all pve content since you don’t want to knock enemies out of your group’s AOEs.

I’ll accept this only if the skill is disabled in open world PvE. If I had a gold for every time you ranger rascals knocked an enemy out of my aoe, I could buy a commander tag like it was nothing! (shakes necro cane)

I always thought PBS was a defensive shot used to keep enemies away from you.

Probably why it’s not 1,500, because if you knocked someone back at that range you can’t hit them.

Why is it still called point blank shot? It’s used as anything but a point blank shot since it has such a long range.
