Agree, Big Bristleback has been the best feature so far for rangers/druids, even better than the launch of druid

at last a pet that is fun to watch (and not boringly small)

I would fix it but making it reasonable bigger as intended initially. Bristle deserves it.

The size of the pets are designed with Human in mind. They look just right beside Human and Sylvari.

Alongside Asura, they general look big as though those Asuras can ride them (and they should, for fun at least).

On the other end of the scale, pets look kind of too small for Norn and Charr. Cats look like kitty; birds bees; dogs puppies.

Godzilla Bristleback might be on the extreme side. But at least finally something that looks as though it means business and something worth my Norn ranger to tame.

So for that reason, I really do not want Godzilla to ever shrink.

Can pets be sized according to the ranger height? For example, if a Norn ranger is at max height, his or her pets will be maxed sized accordingly.

The current default pet size can be kept as minimum.

I Agree that it looks fun and cool.
But i would hate having it in a fight with a smaller boss since i would not see anything the boss do.

I love him. He is just a baby. I named him Pooky.

As much as I would love to see this stay in the game…I highly doubt that they will keep something like this because the reason why ranger’s spirits were nerfed to uselessness, was due to the fact they didn’t like there being too much ‘pets’ in wvw and pvp. This bristleback looks large enough to have eaten all 5 of our spirits.

That’s a shame. I was hoping Bill could remove the D/D cele elementalist feature from the game in favor of bristle-hulk.

As much as i laughed at them when seeing them the first time, they actually caused us to wipe on eb ealier today were the two of them were blocking the view when entering kitten in the wall and missing that enemies was pushing out, so for me this need to be fixed instantly or removed from the beta or at least wvw until it is done.

I for one’d happily sacrifice my WvW server’s performance for this pet.

ANet, if aesthetic arguments were not enough, you have the proof right here that this feature should stay: for the first time since launch, RANGER PETS decided the outcome of a wvw zerg fight!

Reminds me the early days of WoW WotLK when the brand new exotics pet were growing so large that they could fill a whole building and prevent other players from interacting with all merchant NPC inside (core hound mayhem)
Or trolling my raid with a pet that I made grow and occupy the whole viewport at the same time the raid had to move out of deadly AoE
