I can’t figure out why anet decided to separate these and remove the opening strike from signet. Marksman is very lackluster at the moment. If they merge these two traits then maybe we can get the opening strike trait back or get something actually useful in the traitline….

I agree, merge them and add Keen Edge back in.

None of us can figure out why they removed OS from the Signet trait. They were SO excited about the synergy it would provide with other traits, then decided to 180 and trash the concept.

As for merging Predator’s Instinct into Onslaught, sure. Knock in another trait that states “Gain Opening Strike when activating a signet.” It’s small but at least there would be another option for synergy besides Clarion Bond for builds in the Adept slots.

Was looking forward to opening strike refresh from signet. Obviously turned out to be too good to be true.

Predator’s instinct and onslaught merge is a no brainer, can’t believe instinct still exist when they were specifically merging these kind of traits. Instinct is kinda like Panic Strike’s kittened brother, and even that is stretching it. Why would you ever run it?

That other slot could be something like; Remove one condition whenever you gain OS. THAT would be good synergy.
