Possible Longbow Rangers combinations.

the first build doesnt look viable for anything but pve…(will die so quickly in wvw and longbow isnt great in dungeons)
for wvw you will need more survivability

Well, in both builds you are carrying a greatsword also? Do you plan to use it in battle, or is it only used to get escape (GS#4 and GS#3)? If you want to attack people with it, you’ll need a lot more thoughness, since a zerker ranger will just melt otherwise in melee..
Your second build looks a lot like my zerker ranger, and she owns in WvW.. :-)
However, I would drop the Healing Spring and replace with Troll Unguent (so you don’t need to keep standing in a specific spot for your regen). Of course, since you’d be lacking your sole condition removal, I’d suggest to remove Signet of the Wild and replace it with Signet of Removal.

I have been away from the game for several months and am touching on the possibility of a Longbow Ranger again. Last time I did, it wasn’t a viable set up.
I am looking to try Power and Crit based builds.

Full zerker’s gear, I might mix some Cavalier’s gear in. I intend to carry two LBs one with Sigil of Bloodlust the other perhaps a damage or crit chance boost.
Signets have been working AMAZINGLY well for my LB build, been running LB + Sword/Dagger (in pvp) with sigs, build is 30/20/0/0/20, it’s been giving me some really good success, and i’m enjoying it greatly, takes out spirit rangers pretty well too which is always a plus!

Here it is, i’m a roamer/point assaulter, i’ve tried it out with Knights and Zerker gear and i just felt like those didn’t do enough damage to warrant how paper thin i became, and the Mercy runes are used because i’ve found that rezzing your allies at 50% health instead of like 30%, as well as skyrocketing my armor while rezzing and the speed increase can turn the tides of a group fight VERY easily.

A 30/x/30/x/x build sounds like a good idea also, IF you can get enough precision. Which I can’t really do in spvp. Not sure how much you can get, but the crit damage can’t be that high.

You don’t need precision unless you really have crit damage or something procing from crits, but you could always take Rampagers amulet which gives power, precision (high) and condi damage.
