Just want to get a thread out there to see what everyone is thinking about for the patch. Feel free to link builds you will be trying after this patch hits.

I’ll start, after the patch I will probably be trying out something like this.

So, when entering combat your initial damage will be increased by over 57% !!!
Add quickness, the LB speed buff from RtW, the reduced cast time on Rapid Fire, outstanding pet damage (from Sic ’Em, points in Beastmastery, and Pets Prowess) and both on crit sigils and you have got yourself a genuine killshot build.

Note that this build does lack condition removal and basic defensive options (outside LB stealth and sword evades). I feel that if you can get the jump on a thief or mesmer however they are as good as done.

This is mine for wvw roaming and pve. This will be so fun to play after the changes are implemented. High damage, tankiness (relative to dps output) evades (gs and vigor), and high range advantage (allows for more positioning in a fight). (Also it starts fights with a 32% damage bonus)

what i got goin for spvp

taking advantage of buffed longbow cast times
& entangle which will have 48 sec recharge because of wilderness knowledge

lightning reflexes for stun break
signet of renewal + empathic bond for condi cleanse
signet of stone for invuln

jaguar for dps
wolf for fears for rez/stomp

air/fire on lb
energy + intelligence on greatsword

runes of warrior for extra vitalaty/power % – 2sec on weapon swap

2042 power
42% crit chance
3347 toughness
17.8k hp

in fact is that a good tip when u use 1) on pet swap traits like poison master or the AoE Vigor trait and 2) not running Spiders.
I often see rangers that use Spiders and do not use the great ability that the F2 last for 30s on a 30s CD. I use them before i even see a foe.
