most likely, but you already get a sort of evade form it.
None of the sword skill 1 chain evades, only skill 2 and 3 does. GS has the evade built into the skill 1 chain.
If I’m not mistaken, the leap gives you a faux evade for things like ettin stomps if you’re in the air at the time. Don’t quote me on that, but that’s what I thought I observed after doing 100% map completion with a sword.
Also obviously you can fly away from an attack and have it simply miss you.
