Guild Wars 2

Tried this for a laugh yesterday and I really quite like it:

Its basically condi survival but with zerk ammy in place of rabid.

Sword with air/fire is your single target damage. Warhorn offhand for swiftness and blast finisher.

Axe/Axe for mid point/team cleaving, off hand axe for interrupt and reflect.

Rune of earth+natures protection+companion’s defense gives very high protection uptime.

Combined with 2600 armor and 21k HP its really quite tanky for a zerk build.

The only thing really lacking is a solid burst, but PoS is good if it crits in both directions. Plus the attack speed of sword plus fire/air procs is enough to take people down.

Seems to be working as a good counter to thief/ranger/mezmer for home/far, and the axe/axe combo is good at mid.

For the burst source i use is QZ, works very good with sb, might work out for your build as well.

What does it offer what a condi does not?
All I see so far is a blast finisher on a 25 second cooldown.

Plus you are more vulnerable to everything … Since sword. And off hand Axe.

And I’m positive I can dish out higher dps in Condi bombing builds.

It’s not like the build is bad or anything… I just still see it inferior.

Yeh its not meant to be better than condi, just the power alternative when you’re sick of it.

Or if your opposition is running too much cleanse.
