Guild Leader of Favorable Winds [Wind]
Power to the Rangers! Brainstorming Changes:
Guild Leader of Favorable Winds [Wind]
Most of what you propose is really over the top and would make ranger a seriously OP easy mode class.
The Dust Trap/smoke field idea is friggen awesome and would be a great addition!
Mellowpuff [Champion Hunter]
I would actually like if Whirling Defense allowed for some movment speed. Maybe 25%?
Love the Hunters Call change. That skill is currently just not good enough to be used in rotation.

Anet should grab some of these ideas next balance patch. Give us smoke fields, the Muddy Terrain buff, Dogged March, Fast Hands, and Speed Training buff at the very least.

Not to sure if you had it in there but merging malicious and expertise training and also concentration and compassion training.
Would make more room for new traits.
I like your muddy terrain idea, except for the instant cast. The reason why it can’t be instant cast is because of the AoE immobilize (if you are suggesting to have the skill be anti stealth only, then I’m against it). Anet has been increasing cast times for many of these types of skills to make sure that immobilize isn’t as cheap as it used to be, and rightfully so, since it is a very powerful condition.
I also don’t agree with instant cast because I would consider the AoE reveal debuff just as powerful as an immobilize.
I hate RnG for PvP effects, so I’m going to have to disagree with a lot of what you proposed for archer-based players. Might on crit is also wildly overpowered unless you plan on putting a 1-2s icd on it. As it stands, my bow attacks already crit for something like 4-6k each, at 80% crit chance. Not to mention that MmS/Pet builds could get ridiculous with Fortifying Bond. Some of the ideas are great, but there’s a lot in there that would make rangers wildly OP.
