Guild Wars 2

This skill doesn’t produce an icon when it’s activated and it doesn’t seem to be working 100% of the time. I know that it won’t stop current condition damage already on me, but my pet was fully alive and I was still taking a little direct damage from mobs.
It would be really nice and helpful if at least there was an icon that pops up for the 6 second duration of the skill. anyone else agree?

Yeh would be good. The pet probably needs to be within range to take the damage.

I would like an icon that I alone can see and not have it pop up under my bar for enemies to see and save their good skills to use on me instead of waste on my pet.

Also, the pet should continue attacking and get prot and regen for the duration.

the thing is that it works with THE PET which means the pet needs to be ALWAYS NEAR YOU TO BE WORKING… in pvp it is almost impossible for it to work as intended…sadly. If the pet is chasing down a target and someone ganks your from behind then youre kitten because it wont works…they should rework that ability. Something like getting protection boons when your pet is to far and when your pet is near you it could work as its suppose to be. It rarely goes off correctly and it goes on cd… even when not working …its realy frustrating me.

I don’t know if anyone has tested it but according to the wiki “This skill’s effect will cease to function if a shout is used, the pet is given an order, or the pet falls in battle.”

It would make sense if it suffers from the same bullkitten problem we have with Sic ’Em.
