PvE Build Help
A:
Whichever rotation you like better for FoTM, condi is highest potential damage but not by so much that zerker is not an option with it’s own benefits. In either case pick one and go with it for FoTM.
Then having that you can just pick up an exotic set of Magi for raids (Lyssa/Melandru temples in Orr for trinkets/gear).
Zerker would be the cheaper/easier to get option, you need raid stat trinkets for condi to be optimized, the new LS maps can get you amulet/back, 1 ring and 1 accessory though. You can also pass on Magi sword/offhand and crossover the zerker one, just get a Magi staff for full healing. Personally I went Condi though, I find the rotation to be more enjoyable.
I’d always suggest going for Berserker builds if “you are not sure” what to do.
You can never go wrong by Berserker. And it works much better and can fill more roles of utility than condi DPS.
Condi DPS is the highest we currently have, but that’s for no one else but min-maxers. There’s literally no other reason why to get Condi apart from trying to get into hardcore PvE guilds. The DPS difference compared to the whole picture of party DPS is totally unnoticeable.
I generally do what Jerus said, but I run magi ascended for FOTM pugs and when I do dabble in failed raids. For my general running around (depending on how sober I am) I run the magi or zerker/marauder builds.
