Disclaimer This is a support/power build. This build is not your min/max build. Or maybe it is as I did not do the math. However, it has proven useful to me through my playtime
Summary
This is a support/power build. Primary goal of this build is to provide buffs, spotter and to maintain decent damage in your party. You will be applying REGEN, SWIFTNESS and FURY on your party and thus, the build’s name. Fury might not have high stacked duration however, fret not, you are able to re-apply it easily with warhorn #5.
In addition, equipping Storm Spirit and using Longbow #2 will allow your party to maintain 25 stack of vulnerability on enemies easily. This allow faster clearing of mobs as well.
Pros:
*Support build with boons such as regen, swiftness, fury and might
*Can apply vulnerability easily with storm spirit
*Decent damage
*Decent Survivability
Cons:
*You will be constantly casting your shouts and warhorn #5
*Sword auto attack is your main attack chain and it is eeeky.
[Yes, they should have fixed it ]
*Weakness to conditions [You have no condition clear unless you bring Brown Bear along]
*Need to party set up to fully benefit from this build such as a cleanser role in your party or if there’s 2 rangers running this build, this build might not be optimal.
=============
Specialisation
Skirmishing -
2 – Primal Reflexes
1 – Spotter / Strider’s Defense [if there’s another Spotter ranger]
1 – Quick Draw
Nature Magic -
2 – Instinctive Reaction / Bountiful Hunter / Allies’ Aid
3 – Windborne Notes
2 – Protective Ward / Nature’s Vengeance
*Choose Bountiful Hunter for more damage, Allies’ Aid to be even more as a support,
Instinctive Reaction if you plan to run clerics for the extra heal and extra power
(as mentioned, this is not a min/max build)
*Nature’s Vengeance if you feel like it and do not like the 15s ICD on Protective Ward however, personally, I would suggest Protective Ward over Nature’s Vengeance as Spirits are immobile and they can die prematurely in fights.
Beastmastery -
3 – Resounding Timbre
3 – Natural Healing
2 – Zephyr’s Speed
===========
Healing and Utility
HEALING -
- “We Heal as One!”
UTILITY -
- “Signet of the Wild”
- “Quickening Zephyr”
- “Storm Spirit’
or you can switch out Storm Spirit with
- “Frost Spirit” [if pt has enough vulnerability debuffers]
- “Signet of Stone” [for extra safety]
- “Signet of Renewal” [for condi cleansing]
ELITE -
- “Strength of the Pack”
===========
Pets
- Feline – Jungle Stalker
Vulnerability debuff and Buffs 5x Might.
- Canine – Fern Hound
Regen Buff
- Moa – Blue/Red Moa
Vulnerability debuff, Protection and Fury buffs respectively.
- Ursine – Brown Bear
Condition clearing, tanking
===========
Gears / Runes / Sigils
Currently, I have only play it in Zerkers armour, rings and trinkets but with all the passive healing you can churn out, you are “tanky” enough.
Scholar Runes for more damage output but of course, you guys can experiment with healing runes.
Sigils will be Bloodlust/Fire/Accuracy for more damage output
Going Clerics can be fun as the healing can be pretty insane for you and your party members.
===========
Food/etc
Any power/precision boosting food for more damage
Healing power food for more healing :P
===========
Rotation
Here is some simple rotation that I did to boon share/stack:
-“Strength of the Pack”
-Warhorn#5
-Pet F2 – Jungle stalker – 5x Might
-“We Heal as One”
- Always try to use Quickdraw for Warhorn#4 or Longbow#2
===========
Conclusion
Feel free to make any suggestions or variation of it! Hope you guys have fun with it!
