I did not make this build myself, and it’s not even a new build (existed since the april patch). Though it seems most rangers are not aware of this build’s existence.
That looks like the hybrid between the carrion and berserker version. Like entangle isn’t really needed nor is sigil of geomancy. On my ranger (Benailim) I use air + fire and rampage as one.

You have way too much survivability with beserk, bark skin and evades is enough you will ever need. Celestial doesn’t kill things quick enough for my liking and there isn’t one class that can burst you down quick enough on this build. It is literally so cheesy that my track record with the best Thief EU is 1-1 hahah.

It’s strong no doubt I just can’t help feeling it will be kitten d by conditions, sure enough you do high dps to burst someone unawares but condi heavy classes/builds….yeah…
Almost all of his traits are defensive. The damage has to come from somewhere.
I actually ran a similar build in WvW using dual melee set for quite a while. I found it so defensive I was running on the front line of the zerg while in 100% berserker gear. And I mean front line as in I was the 2nd person in after the commander. Terrible damage though, I eventually switched to 4 0 6 4 0, with almost entirely offensive traits.
Try this, it’s what I used to run in the 1v1 arenas for gold, made me a nice little fortune. Power is never a good ideas over conditions for rangers. This has more sustain and it does work.

good thing about these sort of builds is that you can check you opposition comp and quickly change a trait or 2, eg if you opposition is full of necros and engis you can change bark skin for ep and such
