Curious if anyone is trying to include Druid in their Pew Pew Spec? Is it worth it?

Well it can be good for condi clear, stealth escape and roots.

Thats useful for a LB build.

What about LB/Staff or LB/GS but with druid spec? That rooting ult is amazing.

Longbow knockback with ancient seeds to set up your rapidfire is pretty good (though their seems to be a delay before the roots imob them). Thats about it.

Since you have to fill the bar completly to enter celestial and lose all the bar if you leave premeturly the stealth and condi clear are never really there for you when you need them. The healing adds some sustain but without any active defenses its not that great.

If you want insane burst + sustain +defense in a roamer go Herald with Glint/Shiro.

I run condi longbow and will try to use it.

With zerker bow though? I wouldn’t. You probably arnt going to be using staff. Which means you will be using TU. Hey that’s great actually and as such you will be using WM traitline. That’s great too! Now you get one more traitline. You willing to give up piercing arrows, taunt or protective ward? In exchant you will pickup a couple aoe dazes, 1 is gated behind AF generation and the other is a glyph using up one of your utility slots. If you arnt using staff and are only using maybe 1 glyph, you are now looking at AF generation and how often you will need to enter celestial form. How often will you be willing to hit “f5” and have nothing happen because your troll unguent took you to 80% and stopped, now you are fighting to stay alive until another TU because you can do all the dmg in the world and AF will not generate faster then TU will come back off CD for that last 20%. Congrats you can now Celestial form for the next >10sec dealing no dmg but healing yourself and applying just enough cc to not die until Celestial form ends and you are back into the weapon set you left because it wasn’t keeping you alive.

been playing power LB/GS for a long time in PvP, been through many build of various lines after patch. currently Druid doesn’t offer enough to replace the other key lines. Ancient seeds is not that good, its only a 1 sec immob every 10 sec. Sxtaff is too healing oriented to take with the typical marauder/zerker LB steup, you loose all pressure the build applies when you switch to it, same applies to switching to avatar form. The only thing the form does is give you some time to stall and hold a point, in replacement of being able to down an enemy.

Power build Druid is good. It’s added CC and heals to the basic spec, as well as it frees traveler runes when you take Natural Stride. I’ve been using GS/LB, but lately I tried Staff/LB and it works surprisingly well too.

Even if you miss with PBS, you can switch to staff and daze.
