Q:
As the title said, how does it work?
Do i get a passive buff if i’m close that will have a 70% chance (traited) to heal myself on hit?
Is it once every 10s?
How much HP does the Spirit have?
Is it worth using for Zerg events, dungeons?
Will it heal my pet when i trigger the buff or when i cast the AoE heal?

A:
Every 3 seconds, the spirit pulses a 6 second buff to nearby allies.
While under the effects of the buff, attacks have a 70% chance (traited) to heal the attacker on hit.
After this heal triggers, the buff remains, but cannot be triggered again until 10 seconds have passed.
I don’t know how much HP the spirit has
The water spirit heal is not worth using, it offers the same healing per second as Heal as One, but instead of giving it as a burst, it gives part as a burst on the ranger, part as an aoe burst on the spirit (i.e. the ranger can miss out on a third of the healing from his heal skill), and part as a heal-over-time (procced by attacks every 10 seconds) that can be very easily disrupted by a stray attack from mobs.

But if you are stacking in a dungeon it gives a nice AoE heal. It doesn’t provide Water Field – but sometimes provides even more HP recuperation than Healing Spring. It is in Party scenarios only.
Since Aqua Spirit has terrible scaling with healing power, I’ll talk about both healing skills as if you have 0 healing power (since that is also what you should have if you’re stacking in dungeons).
Aqua Spirit provides a maximum of 157 hp/s to the party (311 hp/s to the ranger), but the 157 is dependent on the spirit surviving in a melee stack (without dodging) and the party reliably getting the proc exactly every 10 seconds.
Healing Spring provides healing via regen to the party (130 hp/s to the party with no healing power) with condi cleanse and a long water field that everyone can blast for more healing.
I personally think it’s really kittenty, even in conditions most skewed toward it, but if it’s working for you more power to you.

If you bring healing power (as a build that would want to bring a support oriented heal would), Healing Spirit wins out in terms of raw healing per second, ESPECIALLY if you are bringing regen in another way that allows you to completely ignore the regen from healing spring.
And the reason it has “terrible” scaling with healing is because it already heals for kitten near 1k just for allies KILLING THINGS in the area, not to mention the big splash heal actually heals for a pretty large chunk of health, AND it heals allies as well.
The only healing that Healing Spring gives is via the regen and combo finishers, and don’t get me wrong, those can be a lot, but if you’re going for a “healer” build (totally possible to do) you’d wanna drop healing spring, take the water spirit + a source of regen and laugh at how you can carry any idiot through an instance.
The healing scaling isn’t terrible, it’s just not as good as healing springs, you get 75% of your healing power as healing for the total cast heal (splash gets same scaling as self heal), and then 9%, for the passive, or 54% for the whole duration of the spirit (given it’s up the full 60s).
PS: If people can keep FROST SPIRIT up in instances the whole time, then they sure as hell can keep up the water spirit, especially if it’s a speed run group where fights last about 2s.
