One small QoL that could benefit Rangers is having food and utility consumables (such as sharpening stones) applying to our Pets as well. Runes and Sigils could be overly strong, however, Foods and Utility nourishment items only apply small stat boosts and/or a minor effect (such as life steal on crit).

This can go a long way with helping out our companions in instances such as dungeon potions reducing and increasing damage against specific enemy types, or more/less condition durations applied by/to our pets in WvW.

I have suggested this a few times previously and although I just about always shoot my pet with my Birthday Blaster so that it gets +40 to all attributes, I think it should also get access to utility buffs. And a 10min buff is tedious.

I suggested that the pet management screen could have two inventory boxes on it for food and utility item stacks, so I can throw 250 condi duration food and tuning crystals on there when I myself play zerker (for example). Make it just use the buffs whenever outside town if it runs out.

I would even accept lower level items, as in, no lvl 80 buffs so that the huge inventory on the TP starts to be used up.

A major sigil wouldn’t be so bad and would be nice for pets imo.
