How come longbow is so clunky?

when im back peddling and shooting sometimes my skills enter into 3 second interupt cooldown time for no reason. (hunters shot/ point blank usually are the two)

this usually happens when i try to shoot something really close to me…

anyone have any thoughts on this?

Sounds like you are being interrupted/stunned/dazed. Raptors do that for example, and they do that in a chain, so its 2-3 dazes if you stand in their screatch.

This has happened to me before as well, Shots going on cooldown even though I fired them.

Its also not a daze either.

yea it wasnt daze, cuz daze puts all other skills on cd

I find it happens when i do an awkward side step plus back pedaling motion without fully facing my target

shortbow doesnt have this issue

Axe does it also, shortbow doesn’t though

Well, this is caused because the longbow has activation time on its skills.. So if you pop #3 and your target suddenly is out of reach of the arrow (standing behind you all of a sudden or so), the skill will not trigger, but it will give you a generic (shorter) cooldown..

This isn’t the cause with SB, since those arrows activate sooooooooo much quicker…
