First off let me just say that I truly missed this game and I am happy that I made the decision to return, now onward to my question(s).

1: The condition bleed stacks numerous times will they ever allow poison to stack like bleed does. Is their a talent spec line that can allow this to happen

2: I want maximum condition damage, I am currently Skirmisher/Wilderness survival and it is awesome. With the art of kiting and utilizing the skills(i don’t remember their names) were you shoot an arrow and jump backwards and the stun that you can do when you are shooting to the enemies side alongside my spider which uses the weakness venom and the immobilizing web I can combat mobs that are between4-8 levels higher than me and I can also fight between3-7 of them at one time.

So i am rambling and I am sorry. These are my two questions please feel free to answer them for me. Lastly Please do not try to tell me ranger is garbage, or ranger is overpowered or anything like that because I will just ignore you. Just give me a simplistic answer to the two questions that I have asked.

Thank you

I can answer #2 right now by saying you’ll probably want either Dire or Rabid gear with the superior rune of Undead and superior sigils of Corruption.

Directed to Razor this will be for at the moment pve content. Lastly I am only level 42 with an effective level of 40. So is this gear accessible at my level or will it be something I acquire at max level.

What I described is mostly a max level deal. Personally, I wouldn’t worry too much about your gear until you hit 80. While I level alts, I just slap whatever I get better on whatever as I get stuff. 80 is where you can really start to make design choices, because anything before that you’ll likely end up throwing away anyway.

However, if you insist, then I’d use Major runes of the Undead with Major sigils of Corruption. You can check the traiding post for any lvl 40 masterwork gear that players have made. Try to look for items that are Dire or Rabid. Dire will give you more vitality (and hence survivability), but Rabid will give you a higher crit chance, which could potentially increase the speed at which you apply bleeds.

One last question that you didn’t address. Will they make poison like bleed condition were it stacks numerous times, or will it forever stay at once predominant stack.

I can’t say anything for certain. However, I doubt they will make it stack in intensity. I’m pretty sure it will always remain a duration stacking condition, like burning.

Poison is more like semi-control condition, not strictly damage one and it’s looked at in this way I believe, so I wouldn’t hope for it being stackable.

And to answer your questions : I’d take something with both a little bit of power and little bit of condition damage – Shortbow benefits from both. And you don’t really need defensive stats when leveling, especially if you know how to “kite”

Yes, it is as i stated in my above posting(s) with Razor. I have the art of kitting down to literally a science(not to bolster). I am not looking for elite status, I was just curious if there was any mechanics that are in place currently that could have boosted my damage any further. As I am a leveling toon currently and the gear does get swapped out on a consistent basis. The ranger community will shun me probably after they read the last line of this final post on this thread, as I do not want to continue this thread for hours, days, months, years, etc. The final line shall read like this, my ranger is going into retirement as I have discovered a character class that is more annoying, more capable of being utilized(gonna catch a flame but oh well) and overall a bit funner than the ranger. I will always love the ranger class as it was my entry level class which broke me into Guild Wars 2 and it was the class that taught me probably the most important thing that carries over into any mmo and that is unless you are a heavy armored class you must learn kiting, there is no way around this, as if you can’t do this or you choose not to then you are limited to the heavy armor classes. So in closing thank you ranger class for all the knowledge that you have passed onto me. Also thank you ranger community for helping me to understand the class mechanics just a bit more than I do now. Onward to my new favorite class, hello Mesmer.
