I have never played much ranger before today, and i must say i as very entertained and disgusted. I gave he standard build just a few slight tweaks to the traits and sigils and immediately i am top of the team in every game for the first 3 games, my muscle memory isnt queued, i have no idea what im doing other then waiting for rapid fire to cool down, and im still top of the team. Please give ranger just a tiny nerf, how about 18k auto attacks opposed to the average 2k/2.1k im getting with no thought at all.

I’d like some 18k autoattacks.

Also, get out of hotjoin and play some real pvp. You won’t think rangers are OP anymore. I guarantee it.

play more than 200 spvp matches on ranger get your MMR higher then come back.

Ranger has always been a class that is easy to pick up, but hard to master.

not another one of these RANGERS ARE OP threads by someone that has no idea of what they are doing and think the class is op because they can kill a leveled up character in wvw when they are level 80 themselfs

I can kill lvl 80 players with an upleveled ranger :P

Rangers are strong in 1vs1. However they aren’t that great for PvP/conquest at higher levels. And personal score says nothing about how valuable you were for the team.

Anyways, I believe you guyz have seen lots of threads like these. Why would you get so low to get agitated by it again?
Just say hi to the guy who thinks that 2K auto-attack crit is OP opposed to 12K per second AoE burning while being immortal (hello ele).

Take a sip of that morning coffee, and move on.

If im on another class or even my ranger and see another power ranger, i still feel like its the easiest kill for me.
Only a condi ranger is hard to beat, but most classes condi builds are hard.

I had a pvp match the other day with the worst thief I’ve ever seen, he instantly died when he tried to +1 fights, he never decapped empty points, at the start of the game he decided to jump on home even though someone already said they were grabbing it in team chat, he basically spent the whole game doing that, jumping on a point that was already being capped.

The real problem was he was going off in chat blaming everyone else that we were losing, when we would point out that he wasn’t doing anything useful he would say, ” then why do I have the highest points?”

@Op, congrats on getting the high score in pvp, it means so much.

if your build is anything like i think it is all it will take is a few well timed dodge rolls to get close by a fairly tanky build and your dead in a few hits.

kitten . Did we have the same thief on the team? Was he also AFK for the first minute of the match, run into a 1v3 at mid and die, and then when we told him off, he rage quit and AFK at base for the rest of the match?
