Random Mob Aggro Brought Back This Update?
Hmmz, isn’t this normal behaviour?
No idea how exactly the AI works, but when I’m starting to capture a camp (WvW), I’ll send in my pet first. It does the first hits, then I hop in and start doing some ranged mayhem. And miraculously: Most of the mobs will turn to me (even those that I’m not hitting at that time).
(However, when a melee class is coming to you because of aggro, just cripple it and it should go back to your pet – mobs will not keep cripple-chasing you, they want to do dmg as well)

It is not a bug. No one said that mobs should only attack your pet.
It seems you’ve missunderstood that fix. That was, so that if your pet is engaged with an enemy other hostiles around it will simply ignore it. This is so the pet won’t randomly pull additional mobs to you. Of course in dungeons etc some mobs are linked, that is the pet will pull the entire pack if sent to single out only one.
What you’re experiencing is most likely post 60, when the pet can no longer reliably keep aggro.
