So i have been playing Tera, i like the archer there, anyway. In GW2 weapons like the longbow (for rangers obviously) do less damage if the target is closer to you, unlike Tera for example which is the contrary. Why instead of doing less damage while closer to the target we do more damage instead, maybe not a big buff but some percent. Maybe this will help in PvE to make bows more viable in dungeons so people with bows get closer to the group and get buffs or give to the party instead of sniping from far away.
Shortbow especially since is a more close range weapon would be a nice implementation, we get a little buff on damage for PvP/ WvW and probably not OP at all. Maybe something like this would make range weapons more desirable, don’t know.
I don’t know if anyone have suggested anything like this or if it will work in GW2 but seem like it would be cool.
