Thought I would develop my idea of a Spear Ranger a bit further…
The “Viper”
Heavy Power DPS and Control
Weapon: 2h Spear, 300 melee range.
Utility Skills: Deceptions.
Mechanic: Preparations.
While OOC, you can stow your pet and the F1-F4 skills become preparations, you can activate one at a time. They are a toggle skill that will stay active until you stow your pet again and change it. You are “preparing” for your fight, so you can’t change them in combat.
When you select a preparation, the F1-F4 skills revert to pet controls and the preparation icon is displayed under your health bar. While you have a pet equipped, the F1 skill becomes “Strike as One”.
