Ranger Fall Effect

Effective? No.
Hilarious? Yes.
I personally think all fall traits should be passive from a certain level.
No one uses them.
The warrior knockback one can be great when defending in WvW. Jump off the wall, knock everyone down, run inside, rinse and repeat.
Other than that, yeah the fall traits should get looked at.
I find that (as you might expect) it depends on the terrain. If you’re on a mountainside and you have got to get down FAST, it can often mean you don’t need to stop to regen health for the next fall, or at least, shave the time down. Otherwise, yes, it can be a bit dodgy.

I use them… that aoe immob + cripple has saved my life so many times in sPvP (ESPECIALLY in Khylo)… However i do think it’d be awesome if they became passive at a certain level, or were at least available to take in ANY tree (IE it’s a universal trait and then give WS another trait to put there)

Mesmer and eng have really good ones (Chaos storm and grenade barrage respectively) and rangers can jump off the keep and immob an entire group in an AoE death trap…. oh the look on those poor attackers face when they get rooted down by “Sylvari kitten” (as my friend so kindly puts it) as 3 arrow carts bombard their area.
