This is a very advanced tactic but you can animation cancel out of the GS chain’s third hit using a dodge. When you hit 1 again you start with the third hit of the chain with the built in dodge as long as the chain was animation canceled before it ends. You can cancel again into another dodge and chain that to another 3rd swing.

This gives you a massive amount of dodge frames and can be used to time stall for swoop, counterstrike, hilt bash, or weapon swap.

While this is insanely hard to do in a real fight, I’m sure there is a tournament guru out there who can get a use from this dodge extender.

It’s not insanely hard to do in a real fight, it’s insanely easy to do in any situation. All you have to do is dodge before the third attack animation is over lol….

And no it’s not advanced either.
