Guild Wars 2

In my quest to set a goal in game, I’m making a 3rd legendary for my ranger. I have Bolt and Frenzy. I have the 2 main gifts done, but have been himming & hawing over what I should go for next. I was thinking rodgort because it looks awesome.

Any suggestions? help me reach that dangling carrot.

What do you use Bolt with? Make Howler or Incinerator?

Well your options are pretty much either Rodgort, Howler, or Incinerator for your off-hand with Bolt, or you can go with Dreamer or Kudzu if you use bows. I’m personally going for Kudzu since it fits nicely with the nature-themed ranger, and who doesn’t love shooting golden spears?
You also have the option of Twilight or Sunrise if GS is your cup of tea, but since you use Bolt you are probably a S/W or S/D guy.

Legendary Spear – because rangers are the only ones worthy of wielding one!!!!

I have the dreamthistle horn currently, so torch might be the winner. I was also thinking the shark spear because it is amazing, but that might be later down the road. I just don’t do enough underwater to justify 2 water legendaries, haha.

Howler hands down.

Whats your second weapon set?

I’ve got Kudzu, Dreamer, Sunrise, Bolt and Incinerator atm, and when I run 4 single handed weapons I seperate Bolt and Incinerator onto different slots so I’ve always got footsteps ^^

Mainly I’d reccomend whatever weapon you use the most, it’s gonna be on show after all

I use an offhand axe quite alot, axe 5 is a good reflect/aoe/dmg skill & axe 4 is nice aoe also when used in open spaces. (Frostfang)

make the horn or the axe. Both are very versatile and used in both WvW and PvE

make kudzu!! only bow / weapon that really fits to a ranger
howler fits to :p but dunne i dont like it that mutch

Howler drives me insane that I have to swing my sword every time I use it or else listen to that 1.5 second sound loop forever. I still like the horn, I just wish they either varied the howling noise or made it stop right after you use it.

I heard ppl complain about my howler (this guy plays with his game muted)

i would suggest wait a bit for new legendarys
collect the t6 and everything else needed but the specific gifts..just wait
maybe the new ones will be much cooler! i wait for a cool axe. even my beacon of light is cool too :p

Go with howler. Just turn the Effects Volume slider down so the permanent howling won’t be so annoying lol. Offhand Frostfang is bugged with regards to some of its effects but will still be nice after you get Howler.
