• Fixed a bug that allowed a ranger to have two traps of the same type active simultaneously.

Guys, as a Guardian, I cannot tell you how happy this makes me. I cannot tell you how many times a ranger has done 60k damage (PER TICK!) using two of the same traps. The pet that the Ranger had then finished me off after jumping over obstacles and a gap in the terrain, and did a massive amount of damage to my person. The pet was then ordered to finish me off, and did so with such quickness and precision that it was practically like a player playing a pet. You guys got me good though with my ring of warding nerfed! Darn you all!!

I assume you meant to write 6k instead of 60k? If it were 60k I’d be a very happy Ranger and put traps everywhere :P

I didn’t even know of this supposed bug. Hell, I never saw it in action.

It was posted in the ranger bug list quite some time ago, you could have played with it if you wanted to.

Hey, I only joined the game during the Lost Shores event, and was mostly solo. I only started dungeon runs last week, WvWvW 4 days ago, and PvP Structured yesterday.

You mean the nerf that upped our DPS anywhere from 30-135% based on traits and build?

And be honest, you Didn’t even use the traps bug.

It wasn’t actually a nerf, it was a bug fix. There was a replicable bug that would allow you to drop more than one trap of the same type. Also known as an exploit.

NERF?! What? There is a thing you can still nerf on rangers? I don’t play my ranger now because it really sucks. The elites sucks and pets sucks too.

I better of playing a mesmer until they will nerf everything about it the next patch.
