I really want a high skill cap power weapon that relays on precise timing on dodges and skill dodges to survive and perfect timed interrupts to do damage.

skill no. 4

Backward Slash- 1st part- jump back wards evading attack (1/2 sec) (half distance of a reg. dodge) and daze enemy
2nd- dash forward dealing more damage if enemy is at half or lower health.

skill no. 5

Blitz – circle around the enemy evading attacks (1/3 sec or 1/4 sec) and deal bonus damage if hit enemy in the back
OR

3 strike fang – lock’s user in place and hits enemy 3 times in rapid succession evading attacks during its duration

all these attacks base damage is ok without the bonus damage from the conditions required to do bonus damage

While I would love to see an off-hand sword option, I’m not sure I like these moves from the balance side of things (style side they sound fun).

MH sword with your OH sword would have 2 leap backwards that do effectively the same thing.

Blitz is practically the same thing as Dagger #4. [edit…]

I think given all the QQ this class currently gets from all the evade attacks, and the fact that your attacks are very close to dagger, I’m not sure it’s a good fit.

A blade fury type attack like you mentioned would be fun though.
An engage (second part of backward slash) would be fine.

as for me it could be nice but it seems to doubleing skills that already are in the game

i want sword offhand because i have fiery dragon sword skin. some whirlind skill with 2 flaming sword…

Tired of suicides due to poor sword mechanics on Ranger Auto attack or no Auto attack..

I would like them to balance our current weapon choices (buff direct damage,) before they throw in another option.
