So uh, I was running CoE on melee ranger (S/A + GS) when I noticed my pet wasn’t… dying to Subject Alpha’s AoEs even when attacking up close. Only when I actually get hit did my cats lose a good chunk of health.

Uh, was this implemented recently or am I imagining things or? Please tell me it’s real though asdfasdfasd

bird pets for example have an evade skill or idk what u mean

P.S. Just checked back … well unless I screwed up mightily, I did not notice damamge being reduced on my pets when I evaded.

Pets didn’t take dmg because alpha doesn’t hit ppl in melee range if his primary aggro is on someone that is ranging (spire most likely).

So no pets don’t evade when you do.

His AoE’s are 5 target just like our own. The target ordering prefers players first, then anything else. If all five players are in range, they will be prioritized. The times pets can die on Alpha are if someone ranges it, while others are in melee, or during the running up to him, if someone rushes a bit ahead, the pet might die to one of the long range AoE’s.
