Ranger PvE build help
Druid spec is the most supportive and heal oriented “class”. Such roles tend to be best used in group situations like dungeons and raids, but also large group pve events like triple trouble or dragons stand.
The 33% speed booat is nice as it alowes you to use a different utility skill other than signet of the hunt. An alternative you could use celestial shadow for some stealth (being safe and gain a few seconds of cooldown reduction.
druidic clarity is also very nice to have in some pve situations.
This is what i currently use

Here’s what I’ve been running for PVE farming and story progression:
I use tiger for melee dps and bristleback for ranged (and back up, if tiger is going to go down.)
I use Rune of Ranger for the pet bonus.
I’m still tinkering with sigils, but that’s what my current two are.
I try to sync up dps with tiger as much as possible, so I’ve added in traits that keep it going.
*Forgot to add: Sic em for initial attack, and off cool down. Signet of wild for passive regen and extra damage when off needed. Signet of Stone for an ‘oh kitten!’ button. And Entangle for initial AOE attack, or run away moments.
So, I basically send in my cat, launch whatever I have at the bad guy(s) with LB, and if they swarm me, switch to GS to finish out in melee, swapping pets as needed. If my heal is on cooldown, I have Avatar to provide some breathing room. Plus, I’m healing everyone around me and my pet, as well, at the same time.
If something doesn’t insta kill me, I generally have enough mobility to move around and keep on attacking (with heal breaks, as needed.)

My DPS/survival Open World build -
It’s not about maximizing DPS – it’s open world it’s unnecessary – I like some beef. Also, I keep the same armor I use in WvW since I’m lazy; so that’s why it’s Trooper Runes; which is not bad at all generally, if you use shouts. But there’s more offensive runes. I still would use soldier armor for more vit.
Also, I use LB less, I have a open world support build w/ staff more heals. Which is nice during WBs, HoT trains, etc. as I prefer to support than DPS then. But this has more power and nice balance imo if not doing much support.
I use Druid overall still because well, yes 33% speed, free utility slot, and w/ GS I stun/daze so Ancient Seeds is nice. Marksmen I switch to Skirmishing sometimes.
PvE condi DPS with good survability and CC.
Its quickdraw vuuld with torch /axe and with dwayna runes you always have an astralform ready when low. Good for openworld, meta events and story.
