“I think the Quickness (Zephyr’s Speed) when you swap pets has changed, because when I swap and finish downed enemies, it’s like I’m doing it normally (without the Quickness). I just wanted to ask if they nerfed this ability too? This is the only thing that I liked about Rangers, I hope they don’t change this. And Quickening Zephyr is bugged too..

Thats what I read from it. I don’t think he read the new patch about Quickness bonus being cut in half.

Yes, no point in having those 5 points for quickness on pet swap. Switch out QZ for something else as well because any form of quickness is worthless now.

That is a big pain for my ranger. QZ is the life of my ranger every swap of my pet is my HOPE to add some damage, to do some advantage to enemy. Why they nerf the ranger Quickness?

It was primarily a result of warriors and their abuse of one of their skill thousands blades(I think that’s what it’s called). We were just caught in the crossfire.

No that skill of warrior is easy to avoid compare to the skill of thief. You just need to be smart. Now that the quickness is useless they should change the 1st five traits for BM. They can change like fear your enemy for 3 sec when you swap a pet, or remove condition when you swap a pet, or gain 5 sec of healing when you swap a pet.

If you ask me the problem was mainly the quick stomping, which to be fair was way too fast.

Quick stomping is not a problem thats the assets of ranger. The problem if someone stomp you using a hide skill that’s more worst.

Yeah stealth stomps are even worse, I agree, but both hurt the game IMO.

Probably a dev’s thief was stomped with quickness, so they nerfed quickness- after all, being stomped by a stealthed character is perfectly alright in ANet’s book but being stomped by a broken ranger class isn’t, hence the nerf.

Btw, the correct way to look at it is 4 seconds of 100% increase vs 5 seconds of 50% increase in an undefined time frame.

In 4 seconds: 50% less bonus damage, 25% less overall damage
In 5 seconds: 37.5% less bonus damage, 16.66% less overall damage
In 10 seconds: 37.5% less bonus damage, 11% less overall damage

The difference in bonus damage, however, will always be 50% for timeframes of 4 seconds and below and 37.5% for the full duration of QZ.
If you want the diff for some odd numbers like 4.8 seconds, do the math yourself!!!

The only crime, turrets committed, is being good against the celestial meta.
The mob has spoken and the turrets shall be burnt at the stake.
