Ranger has been my go to class for whatever Anet Can throw at me. A roll for every situation, play style, and couter to other class. Yet I see so many of the same baisc builds, wheres the creativity?

I started out rolled as a trapper luring and kiting everything in sight! Pumping out conditions left and right, comboing fire and ice feilds like a mofo spreading the wealth of disease.

Then went to brute mode cranking out max dps 1v1 with the G.S. Long bow combo. Its nice not dying sitting back while my long bow aa and eagle went to town hitting everyone for the sky! Posting up on the crane at mine was my favorite then hopping down lighting them up with a flury of strikes from the G.S.

Now for my pride and joy! A teams favorite asset in any pvp match. The spirt Handeler! The most offesinve support I could come up with! everyone gainin passive on hit buffs insta revive active skills! Every hit i through out is over a 1.2k crit unless going agianst them big tankey punching bags. Not one class I cant solo, through a team member in the equation and BAM ownage!

So I am curious what the individuals in Gw2 community has come up! with than using everyones youtube build a bear builds. I mean yeah its nice info, but most people dont have the skill to use those builds properly

Show us all what you have come up with and why you enjoy causing havoc with the most veristile class i have ever crossed!

It’s hard to come up with different builds since Ranger traits make no sense and many are underwhelming or are related to bad utilities.

I’m loving my GW1 themed longbow condi/raw damage hybrid build… So many condi spreads, so much CC… Now I know why Barrage removed preps in GW1…

That being said, my NM + BM build is pretty close as well!

God I love our versatility….

I’ve actually found that our traits are only deceptively awful, and in reality are REALLY good and offer a lot of Synergy, that being said some obviously need some buffs to them (like the might on crit trait).

Play with ones that -look- lack luster, they really are quite good!
