Guild Wars 2

Hey all
I finally chose my first character to be a ranger though i want to focus on a build which i’m not sure that is working.
I want to use swiftness and evades and i though about using skills such as lightning reflexes and zephyr and rampage as one but i wanna know if it really works because i hate the feel being weak and useless in teams.
I tried kind of a spirit build in PVP and i pretty did well but i wanna try another build.
I’m thinking about using Shortbow + sword/torch.
So can you give me a good swiftness build that includes the skills i typed and can you tell me if it is any worthy?

Thanks but i need that build for PVE now, just wondering about the skills i need to use and the weapons that are recommended.

Traveler runes… :p

If you want to use lots of evades, you should consider Sword/Dagger (3 built-in evades).
For swiftness, Warhorn and Bird pets are great.

I love them :p
One gives more evade and vigor, the other burst, and both are stunbreakers.

Just for PVE? Yeah. Like ol’ boy up there said, Travelers Runes. Thats what I use… or your signet that improves speed. I got the Travelers Runes to free up the utility slot and improve damage… and if you’re using Travelers Runes you can just trait for power build.

Dang, this man says it’s his first character and you guys tell him to buy some of the most expensive runes in the game! (I use Traveler runes, so it’s good advice; Just not for now.)

When I am doing map exploration I make sure I have these things:

- +25% Movement Speed buff.
- Bird pet. You can hit F1 on random targets, wait for swiftness buff, then call it back before it attacks.
- Sword/Warhorn.
- Quickening Zephyr, Sic’em, and Rampage as One.

In dungeons make sure you run Spotter trait and Vigorous Spirits trait with a Frost Spirit.

Buy Right, Buy Once. ’nuff said.
