Guild Wars 2

So I main engineer, but would like some more ways to play. got a guardian and mesmer besides my ranger and engi. Tried thief but not my cup of tea so to speak. I am at about lvl 70 on my ranger so now my problem hits me. I’ve been researching about different types of builds since i’m no ranger expert but it seems like they are all outdated or not exactly my play style, which is more of a low maintenance type build.

so TL;DR Need to find a nice ranger build for PvE/Dungeon and WvW. Can be one entire build or to separate builds idc. maybe even PvE/WvW and Dungeon style.

This build is what i’ve kinda theorycrafted. Trying to find a build that uses Shortbow and Longbow but am open to Greatsword and like Axes or Axe/Torch. In the link its SB/LB with defensive armor and offensive trinkets and weapons. It would most likely be used in open world PvE.

If you think you cannot help me just don’t post, I am here for some help, not for people to tell me how rangers suck. Thank you.

take healspring for dungeons and wvw, the water field and condi remove are to strong, signet of stone is useless if you not got 30 points in marksman, longbow/shortbow is a nice kombo but normaly just shoud have one melee weapon and main it.
melandru rune is only usefull in wvw.

just should take 2 builds, one for wvw and one for pve, but the ranger is not so great in zerks but very nice in small groups !

and you should swap the pets, cause bears deals about zero dmg and their sustain is not so good even if they have 4800 vit.
drakes/cats a much better in pve and wvw they should build a to your balance build or strengthening it.
