Aside from the fact that now every holiday comes inside a chest now, I was severely disappointed that nothing has been done for the ranger. I could keep talking about what was wrong with the ranger, but all the other lovely people on this forum have done a pretty good job of that.

Yes there are countless other threads, but more threads = greater chance of being noticed right?

It’s hard to find a game engaging when the class you poured hours and hours into gets nerfed and forgotten about. (Let’s not even get started on the mostly atrocious skillset for bow type rangers)

you are right about raising awareness. Unfortunately ANet moves all of the ranger concern threads to this limbo forum, where Devs are likely to never reply. As we speak there is a thread about Necros on the discussions page that still remains (it is about as old as the ranger threads).

Maybe to be noticed, all the unhappy rangers have to post on facebook/twitter…
A hundred tweets about how a class is broken should give us some reaction, at least an answer…

Yea maybe we SHOULD do that. Alcyon, would you like to start a new thread and launch this campaign.

Maybe iron out some details and/or time our posting to interest awareness.

If some editorial / eloquent people could draft a standardised appeal letter we can use, tweet and follow, that would help alot.

I seriously think, just posting in this sub-forum is not working. We need to seek alternate avenues.

I agree. Didn’t use to buy into all this “ranger is the hated class” stuff, but the conspiracy theory is slowly getting to me. ;_;

I am a ranger myself, but to add to our current frustrations read the patch notes released by gw2guru… either I am very wrong or ANET are VERY sneaky and not releasing full patch notes:

Nothing for ranger except some text fixes, but how sorry I feel for the Necros… Again warriors win

Nothing anyone posts in this sub-forum seems to get through to anyone at Anet.

It really is a crying shame.

Disappointed especially when we see the other classes being worked on.

I have been actively reading alot of forums since I first started playing this game in the headstart period. I have my main who is a ranger and I have refrained from spewing on the forums or pretty much posting anything at all to this point. After looking at the recent patch notes however I felt it necessary to comment by saying that I am losing faith in Anet overall. How is it that every class gets fixes/changes except for rangers who probably have one of the largest bug lists and disappointing skill sets of all the classes. I was trying to give Anet a fair chance to fix things and make it right but after this it looks like I will have to start leveling one of my alts to become my main. A very sad day indeed.

I haven’t played my ranger in a while now.
In fact, I haven’t played the game much at all lately.

No sense re-rolling.
