Guild Wars 2

Im thinking on rolling a ranger, I have always liked nature-themed classes in games and sylvari ranger with Kudzu is really calling my attention as a potential thing, but I want to know overall whats the state of rangers in PvE (dungeons, farming, soloing) and PvP (WvW and sPvP)

Is it worth it?

PvE: don’t expect dungeoning in a PUG after the next patch. Arguably the worst farming class because of few AoE skills unless you go Trapper. Soloing works, but pretty much any class can solo the open world.
WvW/sPvP: Will depend on how the new patch is perceived and what builds pop up. Personally, I don’t see a lot of good things coming.

yup ranger is screwed…jump ship…or in your case, don’t even get on the ship
