Guild Wars 2

Hey guys so I just came back after 8 months. I have not played very much at all. So I have came back now and decided to make a ranger for my main to take to 80.

First question, which race would be best for ranger. This is mainly a question on looks. Which looks better in medium armor? My favorite medium armor is the templar/rugged armor. The races I am considering are norn, human, and sylvari.

Also can anyone point me in the direction for new ranger guide/leveling guide.

And in general what do you guys think of your rangers.

I have a lvl 64 female Norn I’m having a lot of fun playing, both in personal story and WvW. To continue having fun, I have to remind myself that I should not be reading the forums ;-)

99% of the medium armor on males is terrible in a bad way, in my opinion. I need to get a make over kit and change gender for that reason. Then again, it’s looks and, that is 100% subjective.

Can’t point towards a guide as I just ran around doing events, hearts, etc, and equipping whatever dropped.

I like my ranger. I would love it if I could perma-stow my pet. I really like the play style of the weapons and whatnot. I like being able to use both bows. I don’t like being forced into a Beast Master build, (which they all are since you HAVE to HAVE a pet). It is just a matter of how invested in the BM build you are. Really wish they would have called it Beast Master instead of Ranger. Would have fit much much better.

Asura is master and only race. Looks good in all armor.
