Attempting to start WvWvW on my Ranger
Where to start basically

- Will my PvE stuff work?
Zerker gear, pet damage build with some power/prec traited
- Attempt to form a small group or find the zerg?
if there is a zerg, how to find it lol

Umm….yeah

A commonly pronounced thing in WvW is “When in doubt, follow the blue dorito”. there’s usually a commander on any WvW map, and you can see their little blue icon on your minimap even from across the map. People gravitate around commanders because they’re a rallying point, and this makes them exceptional to follow around.

as long as you stay with a group and don’t try to take too much on solo, a zerker setup should be fine; the group will mitigate whatever damage you would have taken and spread chaos around, but when alone you’re just a target. if you want to go around solo, I’d suggest knight’s or Soldier’s armor, depending on whether you want to maintain your large number of crits

I would like to suggest that you use a long bow while tagging along with the zerg and try to position your self in a safe distance specially with the berzerker build.

-PvE work on WWW because you know your stuff(PvE gear) how to handle it and half of that you can learn how to alive on WWW.
-But zerker gear is wet noodle high risk high dmg if you misstake cost yourlife.
(Thief can trade risk by a lot of stealth cloaking warp reset etc… but ranger no…
You NEVER see ranger 1 v 20 and comeback alive.)
-Ranger can do solo smallgroup zerg, front/mid/backline it up to your build and style.

On WWW.

-Know when time to push Forward and know to pull fallback not one way ticket to way point.(Then when nice time come you must push when see to danger must know time to fallback not just only forward to enemy stomp.)
-Stay out of trouble anything can happen on field some bloody thristy bandit gankrape pop from nowwhere and kill you,and it alway happen.(If not have confident enough try not wander alone on enemy aera.)
-Takecare yourself first then takecare other.(Save yourself alive is better down next to your down friend.When you alive you will have change to res your friend.)
-Know your buddy combo them give’em hell.(Know your people class next to you how to combo skill/field/support or open/spot enemy weakness.)
-Use supply wisely.(Know to use supply not only drain it,alway have supply in pocket)
-Dolyak best friend(Year true…it boring job but help a lot.)
