Ranger owns in stronghold
Power ranger is pretty good for offense there, especially with piercing arrows down a lane! But not just power is good, condi trap is pretty amazing!
I play on the defensive side were you can set traps along the lane and have it ready and recharged by the time the first doorbreakers get there. NPC’s and even heroes melt pretty fast to condis and they never even have a chance to make it to the door.

Yup, traps are insanely strong there since npc’s are dumb and follow the same path every time. I just wish the game mode was more fun, I get burnt out on it so fast. They should just copy FA and JQ from GW1 and add that to the game. They could put all 3 in a rotation if they wanted to.
Traps are definitely strong. Played a few matches vs trap rangers. It was incredibly difficult for our team to get any doorbreakers through.
Condi survival still seems very weak though. They can’t effect npcs in large enough numbers fast enough and are too easy to play around in fights.
I still prefer Power though. I’ve found succes on all 3 major variants of power 60606, 00666 and 66006. LB damage down lanes is great. GS mobility is effective for supply running, rotating back for defense, pushing etc… With lots of terrain to play around, I never feel too exposed either.

uh, that’s nonsense.
No offense to you Joyride, but it’s not hard to catch up to a pwr ranger and melt them. I can hit all the npc’s and players I need to.
My mobility isn’t good. My healing for me and my teammates is great. I take most healing per game, most condis removed and most condi dmg done, often. I know it has weaknesses, but it’s a blast to play and highly underrated.
I’ve used it offensively to clear the way for my npc’s and I can definitely see how it would be incredible for defense.

Yeah, I remember the last stronghold beta… I was really strong on defense with a Power Ranger.
