After some testing with the Steady shortbow in sPVP, i realized that the 5% damage bonus that you get with a pet only works when your pet swap is not on cooldown with pet death.

For instance, i set my pet to attack someone but he inevitably gets killed. So i press F4, and swap pets, giving me the 60 second cooldown. During that 60 second cooldown, the 5% damage bonus doesn’t work. ( With him alive )

Sounds like a bug that should be fixed instead of something to make them redesign the rune.

Even when it does work as intended, I still wouldn’t really use it. There are better runes imo.

You have to be kidding. Another broken thing for ranger? I’m going to go test this now. If this is true… I guess I’m glad i use lyssa runes in sPvP.

Ranger runes 6th slot should trigger an effect on pet death or pet f2 skill usage imo. Such as, (reveals all enemies within 1200 units of the pet and applies 5 stacks of vulnerability for 5s on 60s cooldown when F2 skill used.). This is a not a rant about me being afraid of thieves. I actually prefer fighting thieves over about any other progression atm because their consistently cookie cutter builds makes them very predictable and easy to counter.
