40 new traits. 8 professions. 5 new traits for each classes.

1.) Read the Wind

Ranger: Your arrows are swift and deadly, but in some scenarios they are not as fast as they need to be and your enemies can dodge them easily. With Marksmanship’s new Read the Wind, your longbow arrows will fire at twice their base velocity, allowing for supreme accuracy at long range.

2.) Empowered Training

Beastmaster: Your pets will now be able to hit any moving foes within its 300 radius without missing.

3.) Tree-jutsu

Nature Magic: You will be transformed into a Seed Pod for 260 seconds to heal nearby allies and cure conditions on them.

4.) Arrowcart-jutsu

Skirmishing: You will be transformed into an Arrowcart for 260 seconds to provide real impact in WVW. Ally friendly.

5.) Ranger’s Gift

Nature Magic: You and your pet sacrifice your lives to resurrect down allies to 100% health and 100% stamina. Max 5.

Number 5 is my fav.

since there are 4 more traits remaining for ANet to impress us. Im wondering which ones those are. If any of you could guess…

I say one of my suggestions will be the new trait which is

Companionship: Your pet receives 7% stats bonus from the Ranger Beastmaster.

Success is my only option, failure is not.

i actualy see empowered training more as…

Empowered training
Pet now have a 300 aoe radius on all attack and gain 30% of all ranger stat (finaly pet actualy can serve a purpose!)

7% is not enought i said several time trought the CDI pet needs at least 20% or 30% of its stat to be tied to the ranger itself

But that one will probably be listed under Nature Magic.

There we go, that’s probably a worthy GM trait in ANet’s eyes.

probably one new trait will cure conditions in some way because i think one dev said something in that direction that we will get new ways of condi cleaning to get out of EB.
but msybe we will see that in our old traits that will be modified

Arrows fly twice as fast. Skills work the exact same way they have before.

It’s like back when they buffed arrows speed by default except now it’s a 30pt trait.

I’m actually kind of worried to see what the other 4 traits are.

Considering our “power” trait line sees a trait that adds projectile speed where it seems more fitting in our “precision” trait line. What’s our skirmishing GM going to be? Restore the SB’s range to 1200? Which I wouldn’t mind, but I wouldn’t take it out of sheer spite.

Hm. You know if these traits are trying to give certain builds a greater role definition, a longbow trait wouldn’t just be twice the velocity – it would be twice the range too.

That sort of a thing seems much more role defining as opposed to just patching, and would be worth gating behind a grandmaster.

2)“Master of scheduling” All RNG abilities now have a 15% chance of being applied by/to pet as well
3) “Evades avatar” Once evades are on cooldown, the ranger merges with its pet for 5 seconds, followed by instant and cost free respawn.

Animal Magnetism – Your Pet ignores your order and tries to hump the enemies leg

Skirmish GM Trait: Master of Invulnerability – All ranged attacks will do zero damage regardless of Line-of-sight and range.

Wilderness Survival GM Trait: Downed as One – If your pet is dealt over 100% of it’s total life in a single hit it shall “Yip!” and transfer all damage to you instead.

Nature Magic GM Trait: Soul Twisting – Recharge time for Expertise skills are reduced by 50% when in range of a spirit.

Beast Mastery GM Trait: Unsympathetic Bond – Skills which direct a pet to heal a downed ally will instead cause the pet to walk over to them… and laugh.

This made me laugh and cry at same time. It really feels like I’ve been beta-testing this trait. LOL!
