Guild Wars 2

Hello everyone,

I enjoy using my ranger a lot. In Spvp and Tpvp I do pretty decent but I just feel rangers are under power when compared to other professions. I just really want a straight forward answer. Are the rangers gonna be balanced? (I am not saying they are not good but they could def use a lot of improvement). Because I love rangers in every game and I just feel in here rangers don’t get that much attention for some reason. Ranger is the reason why I play this game, I tried all the other classes but they don’t fit my play style. I just need an answer, I don’t wanna put a lot of time into this game if ranger’s aren’t gonna be balanced with the other professions.

Man, I wish I knew. It’s possible that we will get fixed, but they never really gave the GW1 ranger any love in 7 years so I get less and less optimistic.

I thought things would change when they created a completely different kind of game but now it seems like things are worse than ever. At least in GW1, cripshot meant you would always have a place in GvG if nowhere else. plus, touchies were buttloads of fun.

I love my ranger most of all. But I will retire him into RP-only once he wakes up from his coma. Why? It’s not that he’s not balanced. I can still have tons of fun in PvE (minus dungeons, but I’m not a huge fan of dungeons anyway). No, the reason is that Anet has lied, disappeared, insulted and bullkittened us with no promise to care in the future that we can hold them too. It’s RP for my ranger. Oh yah. My ranger’s the only character I really use. This should free up some time outside the game And before you respond, I honestly have more fun roleplaying and immersing with my guildmates than combat, so at least I’m happy with my decision. In-game I’m resigned, but on these forums I’ll continue to fight for others who paid to slay <3
