Guild Wars 2

When using rapid fire it displays big numbers up to 8k on the screen yet what it actually does is around 500-1k damage as shown in the combat log, other skills display the actual damage on the screen, so i am just wondering if this is a glitch or if this is meant to be…

It adds up each individual shot from rapid fire, is what i came to think have you tried testing?

go to dummy only cast rapid fire note damage then add up damage in combat log..

im pretty sure each arrow hits and can crit or not crit individually, and that total you see is a cumulation of all the arrows that have hit in that one channel
