Sautations folks! i was doin some PvE and i saw Ogre rangers with Raptor and Griffon pets.. Has anyone mentioned adding some pets with some flair?

or perhaps some ways to make our current pets flashy with some armor or changes in their bodies as they level?

thoughts?

When I originally learned I could tame pets (didn’t know I had to have it all the time yet) I really wanted a griffon. Well, tough teets. No griffon. Next best thing is buying a whistle from the Ogre by the Fire Shaman and hoping to get the griffon @ random. At any time I usually have some of those whistles on me, especially when farming anything.

Agree! Especially Griffons would be awsome! As they are kind of large animals it would be enough with having them the same size as Razorwings offspring… They are somewhat smaller but not as small as the birds that we have now….

Our Guild even have the name Griffon Tribe… And the leader has a stuffed griffon so far… as she has not yet managed to tame a real one.

And – if I’m not totally wrong Griffons (intelligent and magical beasta as they are) are known to fight dragons in different sorts of lore…

Yeah, this has been in suggestions since release. I’d also like to add Skales in there as well.

Can I have a pet skritt, so I have someone to talk to while I run around? His f2 could be an empty beer bottle to the head for a 2s daze.

In one of the Norn Personal Story you get a weapons where you can summon a pet Griffon, it looks awesome and part of the code is already in the game.
Well, Anet added the reef drake in an update, we can hope for new pets later.

And then, they can give you stability! Or stealth!

Second that motion! Technically plasma gives stability since it is all boons.

Actually, I always like the idea of a basilisk for the lightening field and/or stun ray.

i really think they need to bring back the phoenix and the rainbow phoenix, i worked my kitten off for that rainbow phoenix! why was it not added in?

most of the animals currently in game should be tameable, the gryphon needs to happen soon though wanted one forever!

I remember the devs hinted at griffons a few months ago.

Personally I wouldn’t mind a griffon or raptor. But I wish we had a dolphin for underwater!

Raptors basically just do what Moa’s already do :p

That doesn’t mean I don’t want one though. OGRES GET THEM.
