I think this Trait is only effective in WvW…
… There’ no way you’ll get a use of it in sPvP where bunkering the points is the goal and you won’t probably win your game by poking from 1200 range.
In PvE it has no effect whatsoever.
I’d definitely like to see an improvement on that trait.
Yeah, RtW in PVE is just a wasted trait. I love it in WvW, but the AI doesn’t try to dodge so I’m not really concerned with my projectile speed as it doesn’t actually add any DPS since your attack speed doesn’t increase.
I swap it for something better in PVE, usually I change it to Remorseless.
This trait is not even useful in wvw.

It is a good thing in WvW, because they rarely run out of Arrow Range mid-flight with this trait. They also are less likely to be “faked” (running the opposite direction after the arrow is fired).
… But that’s pretty much it. It works only on 1200+ Range because situations like that only happen at that range.
Not every trait needs to be useful in WvW, PvE, and PvP. I also agree with most of you that the trait is very lackluster and only really fits in very niche roles (with one or 2 camps in each sPvP map to truly take advantage of it).
In a perfect world they would have merged something else with it. Piercing Arrows and Read the Wind for example. Probably still not worthy of a GM trait, but at least an easier pill to swallow.
I think they should combine it with another trait, they should even give it a new effect, which increases your chance to get a projectile finisher.
