I want to say yes (if felt they lasted long in my recent dungeon grind) but i have been running my bunker trap build recently outside of spvp. Mind the fact it is to notice when x amount of aoe / heavy strikes still nukes the hell out of them.

And just cause i saw you say something about bow rangers. 30 30 10 0 0. Use full zerker with ruby orbs and LB/GS. Honestly, people will tell you all day “i eat glass rangers for breakfast”. I’ve died like 3 times in the past month running full zerk on my ranger. If things get hairy all you do is about face LR, and Swoop. Grats on the 2000 range. Being glassy is all about playing smart and situational awareness. High risk/high reward. Plus you can take camps in like 20 sec or less.

You could probably get away with a power cleric version using some form of GS, LB, Sw/Wh or Sw/Da. Kinda depends on your play style. I just prefer condi builds since you only need one stat for damage(condition dmg) which allows me to build a lot tankier since i only need 1stat for dmg, the other 2 can be defensive. Power builds need power, crit, and crit dmg. So in general condition builds are tankier while dealing more Dmg. Thats only for WvW/stpvp. For pve just use full zerker Sw/Wh, spotter and frost spirit.
I have personally have tried plenty of build while in WvW. The build that I provided you is what I have personally used. I know is not the best but I works for me.
It’s been so long since I trait natural healing. But if I recall correctly, it didn’t scale with your healing power. So you will get that 133 healing every 3 s.

It’s not the best but it can at least ensure that I can escape xvx when fight is lost. I don’t recommend it for roaming though since you don’t have that instant burst damage. I have taken down a few mesmer and ele and trapper ranger using this build while making my way to the zerg but all may just be luck. I also did lost a lot to warrior.
Anyway, since you already created a ranger, I suggest you try to theorycraft what works for you. What may work for others may not work for you since everybody has different play style. Recently, most of the exo price has dropped. You can get full gear for less than 6g without rune. Bird and feline deals the most damage since it has higher precision. But if you want more stable for damage and survivability of pet, you can try drake or devourer.
That’s my current Setup if anyone is curious.
Only thing really giving me trouble with now is Necromancers.

I think 1200+ healing power is more than enough.
Why do you think about the Dire Armor instead of the Apothecary one? or about Dire weapons instead of Settler ones.
You could get more condi damage and more vitality instead of that amout of healing power i guess.
I’ve played with healing power, and without healing power..
It is noticeable.
Though Dire Armor might not be that bad with my Apothecary Jewelry.

What’s your experience with Geomancy in wvw? I did use Geomancy for a while but it bugged out sometime and didn’t proc at all. I had no on crit sigils at the time, so it wasn’t that.

I noticed that it bugged a lot a while back as well. Whatever the problem was then doesn’t seem to be an issue now. Since I started playing again, I’ve had no issues with it.

Well I haven’t thought of that. My torch had Sigil of impact, which is a permanent type, not sure what I hade in my dagger though. It’s been a long time.
