I am using Superior Rune of the Trooper. And the 6 pc bonus for these runes are to remove a condition from each affected ally. However they don’t seem to be removing conditions. Anyone have this issue?

The Skills I am using are Shouts:

We Heal as One
Protect Me
Search and Rescue
Strength of the Pack

It doesn’t seem like these are removing conditions from allies in my group. Am I missing something? I tried to stand right on top of them but still I don’t see conditions being removed. Can anyone please explain to me how these runes work and if I am using them wrong or is there a better way to use these runes?

The rune is bugged with ranger’s shouts. It only cleanses the ranger and his pet, but no allies. Might be intended for shouts that don’t affect allies (regen + swiftness come from trait, not directly from the shouts) but it should definitely work with Protect Me and Guard. Guess they just forgot about those shouts, when they reworked them.

So do all these shouts at least clear conditions on me? Every single shout I have?

Ok since these runes are broken for rangers and I already spent the 15 gold to buy them – which sucks.. Are there other runes that clear conditions that I can use?

What runes are rangers using these days?

Yes, each of your shouts will clear 1 condi on yourself (and on your pet).

Rune of Leadership will convert 2 condis into boons for you and allies when you use an elite skill and Lyssa Rune will convert 5 condis into boons for you on elite use.

Many druids use Dolyak Rune, because the health regen helps with charging AF, which means more fequent access to druidic clarity and heals from CA.

That rune is really bugged on rangers, as ANY shouts are supposed to trigger the rune effect.

If you use them on warriors and use shouts that don’t affect yourself or allies (such as ‘Fear Me!’ or ‘On my Mark!’ ) they still cleanse the player and allies around.

Runes of leadership are great. I think you should try Lyssa’s runes. They are cheap and work well with Strength of the Pack.

Its only been 3 years… you think they’d have fixed this by now. I would be less upset about the nerf to verdant eching if I at least got the group cleanses from this back.

Those were ignored.
This bug has been announced a long time ago several times. They didn’t miss the bug. They ignored it.

Protect me, Search & Rescue, Guard – Should work with rune of the Trooper/Soldier for allies, ranger and it’s pet.
We Heal as One, Strength of the Pack – these should only cleanse Ranger and it’s pet.
