Absolutely amazing job! There’s NO WAY any other profession (or even many players) can waltz into a zerg ALONE and do what you did. Those numbers you put up were simply amazing.
This also made me weep for the Ranger class. Nevertheless, this proves your point and got me to thinking if I’m willing to level up a new 80 so soon.

Find another video showing the powerful SPAM-1 skill by thief. Yes, this time thief use pistol to SPAM-1 and it’s even easier than dagger, and watching the whole video, his utility skills were untouched in most of time coz it was just unneccesary.

Why are you trying to argue that Thief in this videos is only spamming 1, when that is obviously not the case. If the Thief here didn’t use stealth from his utility skills, he would be dead in a matter of seconds. And going into stealth also gives the Thief a bonus skill that does more damage. The Thief survives these situations because that’s what it’s build to do. It’s a “get in, kill, get out” profession. The Ranger will always be a poor burst profession, because the Rangers damage will always be split in two; the Rangers damage plus the pets damage. That’s how the Ranger is balanced. The Thief specializes in 1v1 fights, at the lose of having any really efficient group skills. It’s more of a one trick pony, so therefor it has to do that one trick well, or ells it’s pointless. Think about it; if the Thief didn’t have this burst potential, then what could it do? Damage isn’t everything for all professions, the game is deeper then that.

Its not that deep. The Trinity is still alive and well.
Bunker builds (tank).
Support builds (healer).
Damage builds (DPS).
There’s a lot more wiggle room but the Trinity is still alive in Guild Wars 2.

I would rather call it Survival and Damager rolles.
even if i take in fact that holy trinity is still alive in gw2, it doesn’t affect the game so much.
Tank = what is it good for if smthing like aggro doesnt exist here ?

What’s the point of this? Run around and stealth when there is a rendering issue with stealth? If a rogue doesn’t break stealth before the end of its duration we do not get a “Revealed” debuff(unable to stealth for 3 seconds, maybe increase that to 7-10 seconds so we don’t abuse it). IDK what the point of this was besides to show how you can continously refresh stealth and do non-threatening damage.
Yes, rendering issue = a problem that anet should fix. If you’re trying to complain about the stealth then I needed a good laugh.
Anet should just give us perma stealth until we come out of stealth from backstab or we take a certain % of health to kick us out from AoE’s. Then give us a trait high in the “Shadow Arts” tree to allow us to see other stealthers faster at a certain range. Default range…200 for grins and giggles. Trait boosts it to 500.
Just throwing this out there. Give our cloak and dagger a 20 second cool down that gives us temporary stealth again for 5 seconds. To avoid how this could STILL be used to perform repeated backstabs, put a CD on backstab at…well IDK…what do you QQ’s think is fair? 20 seconds? 30 seconds? I’ll let you decide since you somehow ultimately get your way.

I’m leaning towards blind. He was oblivious to what was actually happening in the video, and what it was showing.
He also seems to think putting CDs on thief weapon skills has a place in this game. Not sure if he noticed… the design of the class was to specifically not do that? Oh sweet innocent blissful ignorance… how wonderful it must be.
Edit; forgot to add… Slic, the thief with P/D in the vid… he has been playing rogue/assassin/thief type characters for years in different games, he knows what he is doing, and is exceptionally good.

Haha those 8-9k crits are awesome. In many classes that makes up 60-80% of total HP. You needed a full prenerf QZ +crossfire combo to take that much hp (1 hit of thief damage) assuming opponent stands like a scarecrow and dont dodge or get obstructed xD
