Hi,
since the changes to teleports which have buffed port locations generally, do we have any good sniping spots which cannot be ported to easily?

Is this a reason for non show of rangers in TOl3?

Don’t rely on anything you think is safe. There are none. Stay on the move.

Only one I can think of is you can’t port to the torches on temple (I think, I almost never play tele classes).

But there aren’t any safe spots, that’s for sure. LB is popular on foefire because of the map coverage, not because the cliffs are safe.

Mobility is your best defense. If your still you increase the likelyhood of getting pinned by SOMETHING. Also just because they reworked teleports doesn’t mean they can’t reach you. They just have to get creative about it.

Don’t camp – move your kitten .

The ledge at forest mid used to be good, now I do not even bother going that route. The port there is so ridiculous .

Found an old video, not sure if it is practical but there is sure a lot of spots I do not know about even after 2 yrs plus of spvp.

Overrall it’s not as safe anymore because it’s so much easier to port around now. There are still select spots where teleports break but not as many as before and almost all the practical ones are gone.

Exactly. Now even day-1 noob thief can easily teleport up Nulfield, Silent Storm, and Khylo. Anet makes the teleport so easy that you won’t waste your initiative/ CD if you click the wrong spot.

It’s kind of laughable some thieves claim that it’s a nerf and make a whole thread QQ about this change.

Well, if you’re just looking for a safe spot, the pillar in Foefire mid is pretty much impossible for anyone to get up to. It requires you to either dodge jump from a specific place or an incredibly lucky normal jump. Also the fence obstructs a lot of projectiles.
