…but a roll away?

Very occasionally this ability works as described, but most of the time I just find myself hurtling away from my target, and the little snake animation hits nothing at all.

Is this working as intended?

There is a window of time when you have control over the direction the ability will move into. I think this is intentional, as it gives the ability sooo much more utility.

I use it as a close range gap closer, a roll around and an escape tool. I love it.

i think it works pretty well on ‘open’ ground but i have missed often because a single thin tree was in the way or a rock etc. basically you have to do this on open ground only or it misses. It’s great for one you know the mob is loading up for a big attack ….they miss and get poisoned so when it works as intended its a great ability.
